12 Questions for the New Year

What was the single best thing that happened this past year?

I came into my own in an industry that has made me so happy, given me so many opportunities, & allowed me to meet so many sweet, generous, and inspiring people.

What was the single most challenging thing that happened?

My dog experienced some serious health issues that will require long-term care, but she's pulled through and is just as silly and bouncy as ever! Still, she is the first pet I've ever had and it was a scary experience.

What was an unexpected joy this past year?

I reconnected with an old friend who reminded me of some traits/interests I used to have that I'd long forgotten - I'm back into painting and loving it!

What was an unexpected obstacle?

I sprained my ankle badly and had to have a lot of down time - I'm super active and especially love the outdoors, so it was really difficult to be still so much of the time!

Busy, successful, and dramatic.

In what way(s) did you grow emotionally?

I am much more mindful and in tune with my emotions.

My yoga practice & meditation has brought me a deep sense of satisfaction.

In what way(s) did you grow physically?

I have a bit more muscle, am stronger, faster, and killing it according to my Fitbit.

In what way(s) did you grow in your relationships with others?

I'm a better listener.

What was the most enjoyable part of your work (both professionally and at home)?

Being continually surprised by how kind, generous, and open others can be with me.

What was the most challenging part of your work (both professionally and at home)?

Finding a work-life balance and holding myself to it!
