On a whirlwind romance

This year has been a great big adventure for Ms. Chloe Darling. I packed up and moved to Colorado, and started the wonderful and frustrating process of settling in, and creating a true home for me and my sweet pup. I met delightful new people - charming, fascinating, and most importantly kind people! I have to mention that I dealt with some personal challenges too, but really came out on top. I'm stronger than I ever thought I could be, and that strength and resilience means so much to me.

I find Colorado so beautiful. It's similar in a lot of ways to where I grew up (ask me about this while you're holding my hand). The weather might get frigid at times, but the people are so consistently warm. Sometimes I do miss Austin (my home for 10 years), but life is so striking here. I'm so happy to be where I am.

It's always bittersweet reflecting on the end of a year. But I'm so happy with how this one went, especially as Chloe. I gave and received so much love, and what more could you ask for?
